Dear President Obama...My daughter rocks!

So as a part of a project at school, Ally and her class is learning about President Obama. A part of the project requires the kids to write a letter to the president about a topic that is important to them. Below is the letter Ally wrote...

Dear President Obama,

I would like to talk to you about your policy on pre-existing health conditions. This is how it effected my family. My brother was born with Down Syndrome and a heart defect. My mom's work supplied the insurance for my brother's surgeries and medicine. My mom would like to become a stay at home mom and take care of my brother all the time. We can't do that because other insurance companies won't except my brother, because of his pre-existing health condition. I think this is unfair because the insurance companies won't let my brother in or other people with pre-existing health conditions. So please President Obama, try to change this.

Sincerely,
Ally Lawler

P.s. Please try to get back to me over the summer.

She is amazing, and so smart! She is going to do amazing things for this world someday...mark my words!

Signed,
One Proud Cupcake Momma
